The tropically beautiful vine known as Passiflora (Passionfruit) needs a supporting structure to thrive. Generally begins to produce delicious passionfruit 18 months after planting. The passionfruit plant has lush, deep-green foliage with wavy tendrils that cling to the support frame. This is a very easy plant to grow and spreads very fast. Does well in Sydney. The passionfruit's stunning and ornate blossom is followed by tasty, luscious tropical fruits that turn black when they are mature. need a support structure in full sun, as well as soil that is healthy, wet, and well-drained. Protect against harsh winds and frost. Preferably use an organic fertiliser and fertilise every six months. To maintain the proper shape, prune in late winter.
