Bambusa albostriata commonly known as goldstripe weavers' bamboo is one of the most popular bamboo varieties and is a good screening alternative to gracilis slender weaver bamboo. It is an excellent screening plant for smaller gardens with its upright growth habit, tight clumping, and dense fine foliage.
This plant is cold tolerant up to -12°C. Like all bamboos, very fast growing. Because of their incredibly fast growth rate (fastest-growing plants in the world), bamboos are an excellent option to quickly fill your garden with greenery on a budget.
