Photinia fraserii 'Red Robin' plants are very popular hedging plants known for their vibrant red colours which comes from the new growth. The older leaves turn dark green. They are highly resilliant plants that are easy to care for and grow very fast. Plant them 60-100 cm apart to grow a thick hedge or privacy screen. Regular pruning will keep your hedge looking neat as well as make the plant grow thicker and bushier. Photinias are also a good choice for a big topiary ball or bush. This plant will add a pop of colour to your garden. Hedging plants are the perfect way to cover your boundary fence and live in a beautiful garden rather than a concrete jungle.
